Introducing the Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower by Eaton TVS, a high-performance supercharger system engineered for serious power gains in various automotive applications. This supercharger kit is designed using Eaton's proven Twin Vortices Series (TVS) technology, which delivers exceptional airflow efficiency and reduced boost lag for an unrivaled driving experience.
The Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower is a roots-type supercharger that utilizes a 1320 cfms rotor size. This size ensures an optimal balance between low-end torque and high-end power, making it suitable for various performance upgrades. The supercharger features a robust 6-rib belt drive system, ensuring a reliable and consistent power delivery.
The TVS technology employed in this supercharger system uses twin vortices, which creates a significant pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the impeller. This design results in increased volumetric efficiency and reduced boost lag, ultimately translating to a more responsive and powerful engine.
The Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower comes with a number of desirable features, including an integrated bypass valve system. This system ensures efficient operation under light-load conditions by minimizing parasitic loss and maintaining optimal engine vacuum. Furthermore, the supercharger kit includes an air-to-air intercooler, which helps to reduce the temperature rise of the intake charge, maintaining optimal combustion efficiency and power output.
This supercharger kit is compatible with various automotive applications and can be used to enhance the performance of engines ranging from naturally aspirated to forced-induction applications. The Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower by Eaton TVS is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-performance supercharger system that delivers consistent, reliable, and responsive power gains.
The Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower by Eaton TVS is a popular choice among automotive enthusiasts looking to enhance the performance of their engines. This supercharger system comes with several advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages:1. Increased Power: The primary reason for installing a supercharger in an engine is to increase power output. This supercharger kit can help boost the power and torque of your engine, leading to better acceleration and overall performance.
2. Improved Drivability: Superchargers provide instant torque, unlike turbochargers, which can lead to smoother and more consistent power delivery throughout the RPM range. This can result in improved drivability and a more enjoyable driving experience.
3. Fuel Efficiency: While the initial cost of purchasing and installing a supercharger system may be high, it can potentially lead to improved fuel efficiency due to the engine's ability to operate more efficiently at lower RPMs.
4. Wide Applicability: The Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower is compatible with a wide range of applications, making it a versatile choice for various engine configurations.
Disadvantages:1. Cost: The upfront cost of purchasing and installing a supercharger system can be quite high. While the potential performance gains and improved driving experience may justify the cost for some, it can be a significant investment for others.
2. Complexity: Supercharger systems can be more complex to install and maintain compared to other modifications. This can lead to additional costs, time, and effort spent on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Limited Top-End Performance: While superchargers offer impressive low-end and mid-range performance gains, they may not provide the same level of top-end performance as turbochargers or naturally-aspirated engines. This can limit the overall performance potential of your engine.
In conclusion, the Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower by Eaton TVS offers several advantages, including increased power, improved drivability, potential fuel efficiency gains, and wide applicability. However, it also comes with disadvantages such as high upfront cost, complexity, and limited top-end performance. Ultimately, the decision to purchase this supercharger system depends on your individual preferences, budget, and performance goals.
If you are looking for a supercharger system that provides impressive low-end and mid-range power gains, smoother power delivery, and improved drivability, the Harrop A9344 HTV 1320 Supercharger Blower may be a worthwhile investment for you. However, if you have a limited budget or prioritize top-end performance, you may want to consider other options.
I'd like to send it down the road someone that will use because I never at this point. Some light corrosion and rust has formed in various places from sitting the garage, but it appears to just be cosmetic on outside of unit. For dimensions, and schematic, refer to part number A9344 for specs if you find the schematics on Harrop site. Should be really cool on a 4 cylinder, or small 6 cylinder.
Up for bid is a Harrop HTV1320 supercharger, I bought it about 15 years ago and its just been sitting in my garage, has never on vehicle. Vacuum actuator working, and included. Unit spins freely with no unusual sounds. The o-ring cord gaskets on the bottom mounting face, and rear inlet flange will need replaced.
This is one of Harrop Generic Supercharger units, part number A9344, Face mount, vertical actuator, 107.8mm drive.
