Take care to make sure any debris does not enter the supercharger. Instructions for replacement: If you can access the impeller cone while supercharger is mounted to vehicle, removal not necessary. Do not pry in any way between the impeller and plastic cap. Behind this cap is a 5/16 tool size, socket bolt and washer.

Install JB Performance cone. Blow away any debris. Installation is complete. The cap extracts straight away from the impeller.

Our improved cone corrects this by swapping out the plastic with an aluminum that bolts in place to secure impeller. Fits OEM stock and JB Performance aftermarket F impellers. These two items and the plastic cap will not be used again. Replace your snap in place plastic impeller cone with JB Performance billet aluminum bolt to protect F series supercharger and engine.

Installation is rather easy and requires basic tools. Access the plastic cone which is on impeller side of supercharger. When the cone is re-used, or temperature of supercharger exceeded, ingested into impeller causing damage and possible engine from debris. Remove the plastic cone with an awl and a hammer.

It is OK to use some heat soften the plastic. Pro Chargers use of a plastic cone is prone to failure by popping out place and can only be installed once. Be careful not to slip and hit the impeller. Use blue lactate on new bolt.

Tighten bolt to 37lbs.
